Acer has seven new gaming monitors, including a 1,000 Hz 1080p beast

Alienware’s AW3226Q and AW2527HX gaming monitors target two different segments of the market.

The LG UltraGear 34GX900A-B packs a fast 240 Hz OLED panel and 3440 x 1440 resolution into an immersive 800R curved display, now available for 50% off.

The Samsung Odyssey G55C is a 32-inch curved gaming monitor with a 1440p QHD resolution and 1ms response time. It’s currently on sale at just $199.99, saving you $130 off its $329.99 MSRP.

You can replace two 27-inch QHD monitors with one Deco Gear DG49OLED240. This 49-inch 32:9 QD-OLED panel has an 1800R curve, 240 Hz, 5120×1440 pixels, HDR10, DisplayHDR 400, wide gamut color, and Adaptive-Sync.

I caught up with Samsung’s Jeremy Demont and Pepe Dijkstra at Gamescom 2026 to talk through the 2027 Odyssey range.

Ironically, the display with the four-digit refresh rate is actually the bottom of the display stack Samsung is showing off at Gamescom 2026.

Alienware delivers an ultra-wide flagship with its AW3926QW. This curved 21:9 RGB Stripe Tandem OLED panel boasts 5120×2160 pixels (WUHD), 165 and 330 Hz modes, Adaptive-Sync, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDR500 and wide gamut color.

Samsung has announced its latest gaming monitors at Gamescom 2026, but are some of the specs overkill?
